It was a good coincidence to study about family in Arabic during the Family Week on week 4. In Year 1 students have been learning about the members of their family, and they did an activity about the hand.
Mother’s Day this year was special, with all the mothers of students from foundation to year three attended the breakfast and afterwards the assembly.
The students showcased their talents in singing (English and Arabic songs) and performing on percussion instruments. Year 1’s sang the Arabic song عيدك يا ماما , and year 3A sang and played the percussion instruments for the song (Raindrops) . Below are few photos from the events.
