We are delighted to announce that earlier this term, Cedar Campus’ chess team achieved an impressive third-place finish at the highly competitive NSC Primary Open Zonal Chess Tournament at St Oliver Plunkett Primary School. Ten skilled students from our school participated in the tournament, demonstrating exceptional talent, strategic thinking, and sportsmanship.

Facing formidable opponents from various schools, our team showcased unwavering determination and focused gameplay. Through their calculated moves and anticipation of their opponents' strategies, our students displayed outstanding critical thinking abilities. This remarkable achievement reflects their dedication, as well as the invaluable guidance provided by our coaches and mentors.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our talented chess team members for their exceptional performance at the NSC Primary Open Zonal Chess Tournament. Their success not only brings pride to Antonine College but also highlights the benefits of healthy competition, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
