F-6 Feast of the Assumption Mass

On Monday 19th August, students in F-6 attended a mass for the Feast of the Assumption of Mary celebrated by Father Richard. The Feast of the Assumption of Mary is important because it celebrates the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was taken body and soul into heaven at the end of her earthly life. This feast highlights Mary's special role in salvation history and her close connection to her son, Jesus.
The choir also led us beautifully in the responses and prayers.
