Maths Extension: Australian Mathematics Competition

First run in 1978, the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) is Australia’s longest running, largest and most well-known maths competition for school students. This year we had 28 students from Cedar Campus and 37 students from St Joseph Campus represent our school in the AMC, which was held in the first week of August. After solving 30 challenging maths problems online in 60 minutes (primary) or 75 minutes (secondary), the results are in, and we are proud to celebrate the following achievements:

A special mention goes to the highest achievers from St Joseph Campus: Jayden, Ravnoor (Year 9), André (Year 9), Zeina (Year 8), Esther (Year 8), George (Year 7), Veronica (Year 7), Lucas (Year 7) and Marianne (Year 7).
We are especially proud of our two highest achievers from Cedar Campus: Teresia (Year 6) and Joseph (Year 5).
