For Inquiry this term, the year 3 students have been learning about Australia - ‘The Place We Call Home’. We explored the 6 States and 2 Territories in Australia along with landmarks and landforms. Students got to visit Eureka Skydeck which features the Southern Hemisphere’s highest observation deck and fastest lift which took 38 seconds to go up 88 floors. There was a lot of excitement when they spotted popular landmarks like the MCG, Rod Laver Arena and Flinders Station. We then walked through the city, crossed over the Yarra River and made our way to Birrarung Marr Playground for lunch. It was an exciting day filled with lots fun and laughter.
