Year 3 Procedural Writing

To enhance our procedural writing the Year 3 students had the opportunity to make a mini pizza and write the recipe. They had so much fun making the pizzas and eating them. Below is a sample of the recipe.

How to make a mini pizza

Aim: To make a delicious mini pizza.

Ingredients:

  • Mini pita bread
  • Pizza tomato sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Olives
  • Mushrooms

Equipment:

  • Plate
  • Oven tray
  • Spoon
  • Oven

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Put the pita bread on the plate.
  3. Spread a spoon of tomato sauce on the pita bread.
  4. Sprinkle cheese over the tomato sauce.
  5. Add olives and mushrooms if you like.
  6. Put the pizza on an oven tray and place in the oven.
  7. Cook for about 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and enjoy!
