Year 7 Maths Incursion

This term, our Year 7 students have been participating in a fortnightly Maths Workshop, which focuses on hands-on, kinaesthetic activities to develop their mathematical skills. These workshops encourage students to engage with maths in a practical way, helping them build confidence and think creatively when solving problems.
To complement these workshops, students took part in an exciting incursion yesterday, focused on space and geometry. In teams, they tackled hands-on challenges, experimenting with different strategies and working collaboratively. The incursion reinforced key problem-solving skills and time management while boosting their confidence in maths. It was a fun and dynamic extension of their learning!
